How does
trash pick-up work here in Hillcreek?
Curbside trash pick-up is
typically included as part of your property taxes. Southland
Sanitation is the trash collector. They will provide the blue
roll-cart. The Town of Irmo provides recycle bins. If you
need more information, or are in need of a collection schedule, contact
Irmo Town Hall at 803-781-7050.
What is
involved when making exterior changes to my home or property?
The covenants associated with our community are designed to maintain our
property value and high aesthetic appeal. It is required of all
Hillcreek residents to contact the Design Review Board prior to making
any exterior changes or improvements to your home, outbuilding, fence,
trees, etc.
Are permits required once the Design Review Board
approves my project?
Yes. Hillcreek is within the Town Limits of Irmo. You will
need to contact the Town of Irmo Zoning Department for additional
information. Fences, sheds, and other improvements all require
zoning and building permits.
