Golf Tournament
The annual Golf Tournament, which the Arbor Day Committee
sponsors, is coming up on October 7th. Hillcreek typically has a
foursome or two that participates in this event, and it's always a great
day of food, and fun on the course. It's a 9 a.m. shotgun start, with
local restaurants like Alodia's sponsoring holes with nice giveaways and
prizes. Breakfast, food and drinks all day and lunch at the end is
included. If you are interested, please let me know, so Hillcreek can
reserve seats!
Pet Reminder
In an effort to keep Hillcreek looking its best, and making your
neighbors happy, please follow these tips regarding pets.
- While outside, your pet should be in a fenced area, or
leashed. Irmo has a leash ordinance, and they don't mind
enforcing it if a neighbor complains.
- There should be a designated area on your property for your
pet's "business". Please don't allow your pet to use a
neighbor's lawn.
- During walks in our community, please clean up after your
pet.
- Thanks for your cooperation.
Luminaries in Hillcreek
| The tradition of the Hillcreek
Luminaries continued again last year in December. It's always a
peaceful welcoming to the Holiday Season, and a reminder of what
matters most in life!
Many
thanks to those who assisted others during this busy season. |

We Have An Architectural Review Board!
In an effort to maintain our property values, and in keeping with the
covenants deeded to our properties, the Hillcreek H.O.A. has formed an
Architectural Review Board. This board, namely the Hillcreek
Residential Review Board, will address issues within
our community related to maintenance, improvements, and general upkeep
of our homes and property We want to know what issues you believe
are important for H.R.R.C. to review?
What aesthetic issues do you see in the neighborhood that need to be
addressed? E-mail your suggestions to us by using the
Feedback form.
Arbor Day Announcements
Irmo Arbor Day Committee member, Joan Sanford (our neighbor) has
provides this interesting Fact Sheet. It demonstrates the success
of the committee, and makes clear the many reasons we continue to
support their efforts.

We Have Installed New Speed Limit Signs!
As voted at our March 1, 2009 Annual Meeting, 20 M.P.H. speed limit
signs were installed in Hillcreek. The Board of
Directors have selected 4 locations for the signs, which are indicated
(approximately) on this
map.
We planned two sign installations this Summer
(2009), and
the remaining two in 2010 if it is determined that drivers are still
speeding on our streets. High visibility is most important when locating these
signs, so we may be successful in slowing the traffic in our community. Please
contact us with your comments today.
Many residents enjoy walking the streets in our community, and
occasionally, a pet will find its way outside and into our streets.
By obeying a posted speed limit, we hope to keep our community safe for you and your
pets!
